We have the sad mission to announce the premature death of our colleague, Prof. Franz Traxler, chair of the Research Network 17 Industrial Relations, Labour Market Institutions and Employment. Besides being a brilliant sociologist, his involvement with ESA was very strong from the beginning of our association. This is a big loss for ESA and for European sociology.
